Pd-based metallic glass with a low glass transition temperature

► A Pd-based metallic glass which exhibits glass transition in the vicinity of room temperature has been introduced. ► The glass transition temperature reduced by the melting point of the Pd40Cu20Ge40 glass is only 0.36. ► The reduced glass transition temperature of the glass is comparable to polyethylene (PE) and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE).
