Melt spinning synthesis of p-type skutterudites: Drastically speed up the process of high performance thermoelectrics

In this study, we report the super rapid preparation of nanostructured p-type skutterudites NdxYbyFe3CoSb12 compounds. A average ZT up to 0.72 is obtained for Nd0.6Yb0.4Fe3CoSb12 compound in the temperature range from 300 to 840 K.216
