Preparation of CNF-supported Pt catalysts for hydrogen evolution from decalin

▶ Pt/CNF catalyst reduced with HCHO is excellent for hydrogen evolution from decalin. ▶ pH adjustment is necessary for high Pt loading efficiency and catalytic activity. ▶ Reduction temperature significantly affects the reduction degree of Pt species. ▶ Complete reduction of Pt/CNFs is preferred for the reaction. ▶ Pt/CNFs reduced at 80 °C performs the best.
