A method to observe the heterointerface from the interior to the surface during PLD growth with a comb-like mask, isotope distribution in a selected area (350 ×350 µm2) after 18O exchange is visualized by ToF-SIMS, demonstrating that the oxygen exchange kinetics of the NSC214/NSC113 heterointerface is significantly higher than that of NSC113 or NSC214. (b) Structure. HAADF-STEM of the cross-section from a sample with multilayered heterointerfaces (NSC214/113-17L) following FIB milling, a much higher-resolution micrograph of NSC113/NSC214 interface and related crystal structure (schematic).323
