Hematite nanorods Co-doped with Ru cations with different valence states as high performance photoanodes for water splitting

α-Fe2O3 nanorods with sub-10 nm diameters codoped with Ru cations with different valence states act as photoanodes and show excellent photoelectrochemical properties for water splitting.
