The AlCrCuFeNi2 high-entropy alloy with a mixed face-centered cubic (FCC) plus body-centered cubic (BCC) structure is investigated. The as-cast sample shows a double-phase-eutectic microstructure. Quasi-static and dynamic compression tests with varying strain rates of 1Ã10â3-3Ã103 sâ1 at ambient temperature are performed on the current system. The dynamic yielding strength approximately presents a linear relationship with the strain rate on the designated scale. The strain hardening rates upon dynamic loading are significantly enhanced specially at the initial plastic stage. The Johnson-Cook (J-C) plasticity model is employed to model the dynamic flow behavior, and the constitutive relationship is obtained as Ï=(855+1436ε0.32)(1+0.004lnεÌ*).
