In this paper we investigate the effects of thermophoresis on the forced convective laminar flow of a viscous incompressible fluid due to a rapidly rotating disk whose surface temperature is lower than the temperature of its surrounding fluid. The governing equations of continuity, momentum, energy and concentration are transformed using similarity analysis, and the solutions are obtained through numerical techniques. The results show that if the thermophoretic coefficient increases, thermophoretic velocity increases and it intensifies significantly when the relative temperature difference parameter increases. The results also show that axial particle deposition velocity increases as the thermophoretic coefficient as well as Schmidt number increases.
