Mono- and co-doped MXene(Ti3C2Tx)/poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)(PEDOT) composites (MPTs) are prepared by in situ chemical method. The obtained co-doped-MPTs electrode materials with lamellar composite microstructure, which could facilitate the transmission of electrons and ions, provide improved electrochemical performances. The potential window of the doped MPTs can be enlarged to 1.8â¯V. Compared with 1,5-naphathalene disulfonic acid/H3PMo12O40 co-doped MPTs, 1,5-naphathalene disulfonic acid/anthraquinone-2-sulfonate (AQS) co-doped MPTs can provide higher specific capacitance of 323â¯F/g (more than two times as much as that of pristine MXene and PEDOT) and ideal capacitive behavior, which could be attributed to the co-doping effect as well as the Faradaic reaction of AQS.
