Guidance of myoblast migration on aligned electrospun PLGA nanofibrous meshes

► Aligned PLGA nanofibrous meshes were fabricated by electrospinning. ► The mean diameter of aligned fibers was smaller than that of random-oriented fibers. ► The aligned nanofibers guided cells to migrate towards the fibrous direction.
