Thermal stability of arc evaporated Al-Cr-O and Al-Cr-O/Al-Cr-N multilayer coatings

We could thus show, that combining AlxCr1−xN nitride coatings with (AlxCr1−x)2O3 is a promising approach in improving their thermal stability.
