Adhesion and fatigue properties of Ti/TiB2/MoS2 graded-composite coatings deposited by closed-field unbalanced magnetron sputtering

► Ti/TiB2/MoS2 graded-composite coatings were deposited onto Cu substrates by CFUBMS. ► The adhesion-fatigue properties of coatings were determined with scratch tests. ► The properties of coatings were affected by target currents, Ti/Mo and S/Mo ratios.
