Characterization of a MEMS tribogauge

► True stiction force is measured between interacting surfaces. ► The comb-drive actuators do not have sliding dimples. ► The tribogauge device occupies an area of ~ 0.33 mm2. ► In-situ friction characterization was measured with the device (initial lab results).
