Characteristics of a single bubble in subcooled boiling region of a narrow rectangular channel under natural circulation

► We observe the behavior of single bubbles in a narrow vertical rectangular channel. ► We analyze the force characteristics of the single bubble. ► Small bubbles in highly subcooled boiling region stick on the wall or slip slowly. ► The bubbles jumping from the wall are affected by drag force. ► The thermophoretic force makes bubbles jump from the wall strongly.
