On the dependence of the noise amplitude on the correlation length of inlet temperature fluctuations in PWRs

► Significant increase of the noise amplitude was observed in PWRs. ► Coolant flow with more coherent characteristics could be an explanation. ► The dependence of the noise amplitude on radial correlation length was investigated. ► The noise amplitude increases with the increased spatial correlation length.
