Numerical simulations and laboratory experiments for evaluating the characteristics of pollutant transport

► A wave hydraulic scale model was designed and constructed to investigate the phenomenon of pollutant transport. ► Numerical simulations were compared with measured concentrations of two kinds of tracers used NaCl and 99mTc. ► There was overall agreement between the calculated and the measured results in the case using 99mTc as a tracer.
