Swarm intelligence of artificial bees applied to In-Core Fuel Management Optimization

► We present Artificial Bee Colony with Random Keys (ABCRK) for In-Core Fuel Management Optimization. ► Its performance is examined through the optimization of a Brazilian “2-loop” PWR. ► Feasibility of using ABCRK is shown against some well known population-based algorithms. ► Additional advantage includes the utilization of fewer control parameters.
