Dynamic simulation of a novel high-temperature solar trigeneration system based on concentrating photovoltaic/thermal collectors

► A new prototype of solar trigeneration system has been designed. ► The system is based on concentrating photovoltaic/thermal solar collectors and a double-effect absorption chiller. ► The system supplies: space heating, space cooling, domestic hot water and electricity. ► The system has been dynamically simulated in TRNSYS. ► The solar trigeneration system may be extremely profitable in case of feed-in tariffs.
