A multidisciplinary study of a natural example of a CO2 geological reservoir in central Italy

► We have characterized a natural CO2 geological storage site in central Italy. ► We integrated subsurface geology, field geology and deformation experiments. ► Anhydrites not fractured with a low permeability act as sealing horizons. ► Dolostones faulted and fractured are the actual reservoir. ► Fluids are hosted in a dome-shaped structure related to footwall unloading.
