Design of carrier-based offshore CCS system: Plant location and fleet assignment

► Overall CO2 transport chain including liquefaction plant location and CO2 carrier fleet is considered. ► Sequential linear programming models for the system optimization are proposed. ► Optimal CO2 state could differ from the triple point, depending on the CCS chain configuration. ► Korea's CCS Cost is calculated as $26.7/ton, assuming Southeastern offshore oil well storage.
