Pilot study-CO2 capture into aqueous solutions of 3-methylaminopropylamine (MAPA) activated dimethyl-monoethanolamine (DMMEA)

► The paper describes pilot study of DMMEA/MAPA mixed amine solvent. ► It was concluded that DMMEA/MAPA system is an effective CO2 capture agent. ► It has lower environmental impact than 30 mass % MEA. ► Higher cyclic capacity could be achieved than for 30 wt % MEA, if the volatility could be managed.
