Design of a cryogenic CO2 capture system based on Stirling coolers

► A novel cryogenic CO2 capture system based on Stirling coolers has been developed. ► The novel capture system avoids solvent regeneration for chemical technologies and pressure difference for membrane technologies. ► The system consumes 1.512 MJ/kg CO2 to achieve 96.45% CO2 recovery.
