Utilizing recycled cathode ray tube funnel glass sand as river sand replacement in the high-density concrete

► The presence of TCF glass sand enhanced the fresh properties of concrete. ► Lower mechanical properties could be observed as TCF glass sand used into the concrete. ► The concrete has drying shrinkage below 0.075% at the drying period of 56 days. ► ASR expansion of mortar with TCF glass sand is below 0.1% at tested age of 14 days. ► The treated CRT funnel glass can be reutilized for the production of concrete.
