Plastic scintillators with efficient neutron/gamma pulse shape discrimination

► We present first plastic scintillators with neutron/gamma discrimination (PSD). ► We describe processes leading to PSD in plastic, liquid, and crystal scintillators. ► We show that new plastics can replace liquid scintillators used for neutron detection.
