Hyperfractionated Concomitant Boost Proton Beam Therapy for Esophageal Carcinoma

The results suggest that hyperfractionated PBT is safe and effective for patients with esophageal cancer. Further studies are needed to establish the appropriate role and treatment schedule for use of PBT for esophageal cancer.
