چکیده انگلیسی
The preparation of pure ZnO, doped [(Zn0.99M0.01) O] and co-doped [(Zn0.99, Al0.005, Gd0.005) O] materials, where M = Al/Gd carried out by co-precipitation route. The effect of γ-ray irradiation on structural and electrical properties of prepared samples was investigated. The results of various characterisations such as Thermoluminescence (TL), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and dc conductivity at room temperature for these prepared samples have been reported. The TL glow curves showed maximum intensity for Gd doped ZnO and room temperature dc electrical characterisation confirmed the maximum enhancement in conductivity for Al doped ZnO after γ-ray irradiation. Al and Gd co-doped sample has simultaneously showed good TL as well as dc conductivity after γ-ray irradiation.
