A mode parabolic equation method in the case of the resonant mode interaction

A mode parabolic equation method for resonantly interacting modes has been developed. The method ensures acoustic energy flux conservation in accord with multiple scaled analysis accuracy. We carried out testing calculations for the ASA wedge benchmark, that showed excellent agreement with the COUPLE program.
