Immune-enhancing activity comparison of sulfated ophiopogonpolysaccharide and sulfated jujube polysaccharide

► Ophiopogonpolysaccharide (OPS) and jujube polysaccharides (JPS) were sulfatedly modified. ► Immune-enhancing activities of sulfated OPS (sOPS) and JPS (sJPS) were compared. ► sOPS and sJPS showed stronger activity as compared with unmodified OPS and JPS. ► Sulfated modification significantly enhanced the immune-enhancing activity of OPS and JPS. ► sOPS80 possessed the best efficacy and could be as a component of immunopotentiator.
