Protective effects of aminoethyl-chitooligosaccharides against oxidative stress in mouse macrophage RAW 264.7 cells

► Intracellular free radical scavenging activities of aminoethyl-chitooligosaccharides (AE-COS) was investigated in RAW 264.7 cells. ► AE-COS inhibited DNA and protein oxidation in RAW 264.7 cells. ► AE-COS can be used as a free radicals scavenger in cellular system.
