Anti-hepatoma activity in mice of a polysaccharide from the rhizome of Anemone raddeana

► A neutral polysaccharide fraction (ARP) was prepared from the rhizome of Anemone raddeana. ► ARP could significantly inhibit the growth of H22 transplantable tumor in mice. ► ARP could remarkably promote both specific and non-specific cellular and humoral immune response. ► ARP could reverse the hematological parameters induce by 5-FU to near normal level.
