The impact of nandrolone decanoate and growth hormone on biosynthesis of steroids in rats

- Thirteen steroids were measured with LC-MS/MS methods in rat plasma.
- Nandrolone decanoate (ND) administration increased the estradiol concentrations.
- ND diminished the plasma concentrations of testosterone and androstenedione.
- GH altered the steroid profile but did not normalize the ND-induced alterations.
