On quenching for some parabolic problems with combined power-type nonlinearities

In this paper, we investigate initial-boundary value problems for nonlinear parabolic differential equations with combined power-type nonlinearities. We show that the solution of the above problem quenches in a finite time, and estimate its quenching time. Finally, we have carried out numerical experiments.
