A novel electrostatic dry coating process for enteric coating of tablets with Eudragit® L100-55

The tablet was coated with negatively charging the coating particles, spraying the charged particles onto the tablet surface and curing the tablet at elevated temperature for film formation. In vitro dissolution of electrostatic dry coated tablets in pH 1.0 and pH 6.8 release medium confirmed a successful enteric coating process.
