Production, characterization and utility of a panel of monoclonal antibodies for the detection of toluene diisocyanate haptenated proteins

► A panel of toluene diisocyanates-specific MAbs was produced and characterized. ► Stronger recognition was observed when haptenation was through the ortho isocyanate. ► The mAbs were selective for aromatic diisocyanates haptenated proteins. ► These mAbs have potential use for both research and biomonitoring.
