⺠Different sized gold nanoparticles were instilled once to lungs of male Wistar rats. ⺠The Comet assay showed no increased DNA damage in lung cells. ⺠The micronucleus rate in bone marrow cells was not adversely affected. ⺠There were neither relevant clinical nor histopathological findings.
