Effects of age, gender and time on receptor expression and anti-Aspergillus functions of human phagocytes

► Study of the expression of nine receptors on phagocytes and their functions against Aspergillus in healthy donors. ► A large variability of Aspergillus adherence to phagocytes was observed. ► A great variability of CD282 expression on granulocytes was observed in subjects according to the age and time. ► It was important to check these physiological variations to interpret them in human disease.
