The far-zone scattered spectrum of two correlated light waves on scattering from a collection of particles is discussed, and the effects of the distribution characters of particles on the spectral shift of the far-zone scattered field are investigated. It is shown that, when the collection is illuminated with two correlated light waves, the far-zone scattered spectrum may be shifted to a longer or a smaller wavelength, depending on the angle of scattering. It is also shown that the magnitude of the spectral shift is affected by the properties of the pair-structure factor, including the angular width and the angular correlation width. This phenomenon may have potential applications in the determination of the structure information from the measurements of the scattered field.
