Development and validation of an LC-MS/MS method for quantification of NC-8 in rat plasma and its application to pharmacokinetic studies

81NC-8, an isosteviol derivative, exhibited inhibitory activity against the secretion of HBsAg and HBeAg. The action mechanism of NC-8 was distinct from those of typical HBV inhibitors. For further drug development, a bioanalytical method development, validation, and application to pharmacokinetic investigations of NC-8 were carried out.
