The effect of ageing on the ocular surface parameters

- Many ocular surface parameters relevant for multifocal contact lens fitting showed a significant correlation with ageing.
- Differences were found in several parameters between the three age groups stablished.
- No correlation was found between ocular symptomatology of the participants and ageing.
