Lipoprotein apheresis downregulates IL-1α, IL-6 and TNF-α mRNA expression in severe dyslipidaemia

LA suppresses the expression of IL-1α, IL-6 and TNF-α mRNA in patients with dyslipidaemias. This may contribute to the arterial anti-inflammatory effect of LA.
