Ventilación de alta frecuencia oscilatoria en la Unidad de Cuidado Intensivo Neonatal del Hospital de San José, Bogotá DC, Colombia

It was observed that HFOV improved the oxygenation disorders and the acid-base balance in the first 6 hours after being started in patients with severe lung diseases. The outcome depends more on the underlying disease suffered by the patient and its complications.
