Immunohistochemical expression of cyclooxygenase-2 and cyclin-D1 in oral squamous cell carcinoma

COX-2 and CD-1 may play an important role in carcinogenesis and progression of malignant lesions. This study provides evidence that suggests their participation in the biological behavior of OSCC. Further research is necessary to confirm the potential of these proteins as biomarkers and therapeutic target.
