A phone-guided cardiopulmonary resuscitation protocol within SAMU 78 would significantly increase the workload of the dispatchers, but the difference is small and of little practical relevance. This result allows us to consider the implementation of the telephone guidance procedure without waiting for a major impact on the overall quality of the SAMU 78.
