Outcomes of Laparoscopic Cholecysectomy in Geriatric Population

This study showed that LC can be safely performed in elderly patients, without any significant increase in perioperative morbidity. Presence of acute cholecystitis is the main factor of conversion in all ages. Therefore, surgeons should be more careful in such patients.
