Historia familiar de litiasis renal en pacientes diagnosticados de infección del tracto urinario por Escherichia coli

The frequency of family history of urolithiasis in children with UTI caused by E. coli is very high. Based on our results we hypothesize that the predisposition to lithiasis can involve a constitutively altered defense to E. coli and, therefore, a greater possibility for renal scars.
