We present the case of a 68 year old man who admitted to emergency with abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting initially classified as acute biliary pancreatitis etiology; a pedunculated gastric polyp intussuscepted into duodenum as a cause of acute pancreatitis was incidentally discovered, emergency endoscopic treatment and definitive treatment with open surgery was performed.
