Breast reduction and breast lift surgery significantly increases the quality of life measured by the Breast-Q® instrument in patients with breast hypertrophy or ptosis. The determinant factors of this improvement would be directly related to the amount of tissue resected, with a 50% improvement with resections above 300 g.
