Ensemble support vector machine classification of dementia using structural MRI and mini-mental state examination

Ensemble methods using bagging and feature selection can improve the performance of the commonly applied SVM classifier in dementia classification. This resulted in competitive classification accuracies in the International Challenge for Automated Prediction of MCI from MRI data.
