First detection of precursory ground inflation of a small phreatic eruption by InSAR

- We detected locally distributed ground inflation prior to a small phreatic eruption.
- Deformation speed correlated well with deep magma activity.
- High-resolution InSAR data can be a good indicator of subsurface pressure conditions.
