Comparative effects of propofol vs dexmedetomidine on cerebrovascular carbon dioxide reactivity in patients with septic shock

This study showed that cerebrovascular CO2 reactivity was lower under dexmedetomidine sedation than under propofol sedation during almost identical sedation in patients with septic shock.
