Effects of sevoflurane and propofol on ischaemia-reperfusion injury after thoracic-aortic occlusion in pigs

Use of sevoflurane compared with propofol attenuated the haemodynamic sequelae of reperfusion injury in our model. Release of serum markers of cellular injury was also attenuated.
